Shashank Singal holds a degree in architecture from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi with a background in passive sustainable architectural design of institutional buildings in India. He completed his Masters in Lighting Design from Parsons The New School for Design in 2018 and has since worked on a variety of residential, institutional and commercial projects as a lighting designer. He is passionate about the comprehensive luminous environment of buildings from functional, aesthetic, health and energy efficiency standpoints, striving to achieve a balance between daylighting and electric lighting. He draws inspiration from a range of fields including graphic, product and interaction design.
